Our Robot

Our flagship robot will be 30 pounds. The current design revolves around a vertical spinner weapon that will have a tip speed of over 180 mph and weight around nine pounds. For comparison, this impact will be equivalent to a 200-pound person crashing at 25 mph on a bicycle. This, combined with a drive speed of over 20 mph will help us be competitive at NHRL. The force strength will require the frame and weapon systems to be built from space grade aluminum, impact resistant grades of steel, and composites such as Kevlar and carbon fiber.
